USA10Cast: Noah Davis on the U.S. U-23s’ failure to qualify for the Olympics

Noah Davis on the U.S. U-23s’ failure to qualify for the Olympics by USA10Cast

Noah Davis stops by the 10Cast to share his insight on the U.S. U-23s’ elimination from Olympic Qualifying in the group stage, which he covered in Nashville.

He tells us if there are any positives to be taken from the debacle and discusses whether or not Caleb Porter has a future with the team. Like the team itself, this podcast starts off full of talent with plenty of encouraging signs. Will it crash and burn a third of the way through as well? Listen and find out.

The new, fancier player wouldn’t work this week for some reason, so we’re kicking it old school with the wave form widget. Retro, baby.

With three U.S. Soccer teams in action on February 29, the USA10Cast examines two of the three matches (don’t worry USWNT fans, we’ll get to you eventually). In the first half, Anthony Mannino tells us just what the USMNT has to do in order to exploit the weakness of the Azzurri and get a win on European soil. Then, Daniel Robertson of BigDSoccer joins us from Dallas where he’s been covering the U.S. U-23 camp. Robertson gives us the players to watch beyond the names we already know and tells us what to expect in the late-night clash with Mexico.

USA10Casts Galore: Travis Clark on MLS SuperDraft, Special Editon Featuring Arch Bell on Freddy Adu

It’s a two-for-one deal today when it comes to USA10Casts. Remember you can now subscribe to us on iTunes.

We have a traditional offering with Travis Clark, who tells us which teams had great drafts and which didn’t draft so well:

Travis Clark talks MLS SuperDraft by USA10Cast

His article we mention on the pod about the winners and losers of this year’s draft can be found here.

There’s also a special edition with Arch Bell about his pieces on Freddy Adu. While there’s some of the same discussion you’d find on the traditional 10Cast, Arch takes us more in depth about how he went about reporting his stories.

If you haven’t read his 10Cast piece yet, we’ve conveniently embedded the podcast at the end of the story. But only because we love you. Here’s a link to the story that ran over on ESPN.

A Look Into the Future: USA10Cast’s 2012 Predictions by USA10Cast
Brent Latham and Anthony Mannino join Jon Arnold to take a look into the future and predict what 2012 will hold for U.S. soccer. How will the USMNT fare in World Cup Qualifying? Will the U.S. medal at the Olympics…or even make it to London in the first place? What will be the most exciting position battle during WCQs? And, how will MLS’ new deal with NBC affect the league? All those questions (and of course, more!) are answered in the podcast.

Note: The USA10Cast is not responsible for any wagers placed based on this podcast. Except if you win it big. Then, we want in on that.

Also, exciting news. The podcast will be up on iTunes once Apple decides we’re not rambling lunatics. Hmm, perhaps that verification will be harder than we were hoping. We’ll give you the link once it’s available.

UPDATE: Now on iTunes! We did it! Direct link here. Subscribe and listen on your iOS devices while you wash your dog, walk to class, eat dinner or whatever it is you do while you listen to American soccer podcasts.
