NOAH DAVIS - Alex Zahavi sounds like an extremely nice young man.

I caught up with him for an MLSsoccer.com profile, and talked about his impending decision on whether to switch his affiliation to the United States.

“I’m pretty sure that I want to go forward,” he told me. “I’m very happy with the US squad. I like the coaching staff and it feels right. The decision’s not 100 percent made, but I’m leaning forward toward playing with the US.”

My take: Thomas Rongen will soon have one more flank player.
