10 Kit Wants to Serve You This World Cup

We know you’re there. We see the stats on our analytics page. In  the first month since launch, 10 Kit has attracted well over 5,000 visits, from over 70 countries (we’re not sure whether to count the one hit from Botswana, East Timor or Mongolia).

We’re on the brink of the World Cup, and our man Noah Davis is in South Africa ready to follow the team. Plus we’ve got a growing team of correspondents across the country and around the world anxious to provide content and commentary our readers will enjoy. But we need your help.

Believe us, 10Kit is here to stay. For several of us, this is our career.  So please, tell us what you want to see on 10Kit, now and in the future.

What do you want it to be? We’ll make sure it happens. We want to be your reference point for American soccer. Tell us how to do that. Send us an email, or drop a comment below, or anywhere else. We’re listening.

It seems like every US soccer blog is either just reporting on what other people report, being an arm chair manager, being a cheerleader or snark. It seems like you guys keep it professional and I appreciate that.

I really appreciate the level of reporting you guys do as well as the different voices you offer. It’s obvious you’re pros and it reads that way. I’d say keep up the good work. Sorry I don’t really have anything constructive to add, but I’ll comment when I see something. Just thought I’d respond since I’m one of those readers popping up on your analytics.

I’ve been reading quite a bit for the last few weeks and really love the insight and general news.

I’m hoping you can recommend a good site that will have live game casts so i can follow along at my desk at work. Surf control blocks any sort of video so i like the constant live analysis and play by play.

Any such site stand out above the rest?

CK – ESPN does gamecasts that are pretty good, if i do say so myself. No video, but live flow of the match and some commentary for most matches. I just finished with the opener, we had about 7 commentators on. The info’s on my twitter stream (@brentjavan) when I’m on.

Of course their are other which will be just as good, if anyone has a suggestion.
